However, the competition would also reveal that his male friends would act base and self-centered and do almost anything for a date.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n

The efforts Piuggi and his friends made to avoid boredom during the pandemic provided the impetus for the project known as Instafamous. We had been attempting to date via Instagram because \u2013 other than sitting on the couch at home \u2013 what else were we doing?\u201d He stated

Piuggi believed that Instafamous would be his big break after speaking with producers multiple times; however, he claims that these conversations led to an even greater heartbreak. In a recent lawsuit, Piuggi claims that a number of producers conspiring with entertainment giants stole key elements of his idea to create the hit HBO reality show FBoy Island, in which women contestants must determine which men describe themselves as \u201cnice guys\u201d or \u201cfuck boys.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Piuggi described his emotional response to the alleged theft of an idea as, \u201cI just gave you guys my baby and you took it.\u201d I stated to them, Guys, I\u2019ll continue writing the show for free; all I want is credit because then I can continue, and then I\u2019ll get a job with someone else. \u201cSorry, we don\u2019t know what you\u2019re talking about,\u201d they said.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

After that, Piuggi learned that HBO was releasing a documentary called Fake Famous, which, according to him, was very similar to Instafamous. Piuggi \u201crealized his concepts were being fed to HBO,\u201d according to the lawsuit.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Grand Street denied having any connection to Fake Famous or HBO, but the lawsuit filed by Piuggi alleges that the company has close ties to HBO because its owner is related to a producer who worked on shows for the entertainment conglomerate. According to Piuggi\u2019s lawsuit, Good For You shared information about his show concept.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Piuggi stated, \u201cThere was no coincidence.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n
